Holistic Living is entering its sixth year of activity and our 11th festival is coming up next month. When these projects began back in 2002, I entered into what seemed to be an expanding niche market in Singapore.
Since then I have met many practitioners, teachers as well as countless business owners from here and overseas. I have watched trends come and go and experienced a number of therapies. The dedication and enthusiasm that many people bring into this field has been a heart-warming constant and it has been sad to occasionally see businesses close due to lack of support.
Six years on, I am now less naive, but a little wiser and overall the experience has helped to define my own beliefs.
Looking ahead, I am delighted that The Centre for BioField Studies based in the UK and India is sponsoring October’s Holistic Living Wellness Weekend.
And this month, Holistic Living and Illuminations from Dubai are also presenting a free talk and a workshop by renowned healers from the International Academy of Life in India. See the article below for more details.
The newsletter will be back in November after the Wellness Weekend. Until then, I look forward to seeing you at Fort Canning in October.
